UK, AUGUST 03, 2014: In response to Bahrain’s Justice Ministry asking a court to temporarily suspend the activities of three leading opposition parties -- al-Wefaq, the Justice and Development Movement, and the National Democratic Action Society -- Citizens Rights Watch [CRW] issued the following statement:

If Bahraini Government finds it beneficial for its citizens' security and welfare to stop the work of these parties due to their law violations in pretense and that they were not operating within Bahraini law or the parties’ codes of conduct.
In a time of great political turmoil in the Middle East and North Africa, Bahrain shall be fully respected when taking any necessary step to protect its citizens, constitution, laws, and infrastructure, without any violence and within its local laws and with complying to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
CRW also urge all foreign countries to respect Bahrain Government in its legal actions and to never interfere in its local affairs, with full confidence that Bahraini citizens can solve their issues peacefully according to their laws. In addition to urging all Bahriani citizens to comply with their own country's laws and respect their historical constitutional government which is always known for providing sincere citizens care.
